Csaba Balogh, vice-rector, university professor, and lecturer at our Institute, received the Master teacher (Mestertanár) Gold Medal for his outstanding work as a supervisor and for his contributions to organizing the scientific student movement.

Since 1997, the National Scientific Students’ Council of Hungary (OTDT) has awarded its Master teacher prize to educators and researchers who have achieved exceptional results over many years in supporting student scientific work carried out in scientific circles, specialized colleges, or other forms of self-directed learning.

The award ceremony took place on 25 November 2025 in Budapest, at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, during the festive closing event of the 37th OTDK. This year, 49 educators and researchers received the distinction.
