The General Administrative Director
- Art. 58. The administrative structure of the PTI is led by the General Administrative Director (GAD).
- Art. 59. The position of GAD is occupied by a competition organised by the Administrative Council. The president of the competition committee is the Rector. This committee must have one representative of the Romanian Ministry of Education among its members. The validation of the competition’s results is done by the Senate and the Rector nominates the new director in his/her position.
- Art. 60. The General Administrative Director has the following competences:
- a) signs the contract of agreement concerning the Rector’s managerial programme;
- b) coordinates the activities for which she/he has been nominated by the Rector;
- c) is responsible for the PTI’s administrative leadership, foolows and coordinates the activities of those responsible for administrative compartments;
- d) participates in the strategic and daily management of the university;
- e) prepares the budget, assist the Rector in budgetary analyses, executions, reports and prognoses;
- f) is responsible for the quality and clarity of the statistic reports sent to the Romanian Ministry of Education and other organisms, according to the law;
- g) coordinates the preservation, development and augmentation of the patrimony;
- h) is responsible for the preservation of the PTI’s material goods, of reparations, constructions and maintenance activities;
- i) is responsible in front of the Senate and of the Rector.
- Art. 61. The maintaining in her/his position of the GAD is done based on the her/his signed accord concerning the executive support of the managerial programme of the new Rector according to art. 211, par. 5 of Law 1/2011.
