This study seeks to address a small yet significant difference between the Masoretic Text (MT) of Jer 31:32 (corresponding to 38:32 in the Septuagint [LXX]) and its ancient Greek translation. The aim is to stimulate scholarly discourse by proposing a new hypothesis concerning the original Hebrew Vorlage underlying the Greek term ἠμέλησα in the Septuagint translation of Jer 31:32. The suggestion put forth here is speculative, intended to provoke reflection and further debate regarding the textual history and theological development of this passage.

Care este contextul povestirii nașterii consemnate în Evanghelia după Luca? De ce este important pentru Luca să menționeze domnia împăratului Augustus și să descrie vestea bună adusă de îngeri? Există vreo legătură formală între „evanghelie” și „vestea bună” folosită în cultul împăratului? În ce măsură traducerile urmează sau sunt capabile să urmeze forma și conținutul cântării corului îngeresc consemnate în Lc 2,14?
The purpose of this short paper is to present an analysis of the Hebrew text of Psalm 90,12, and to reflect on its extant Hungarian translations. In order to achieve my goal, I will divide the text into smaller unites, as suggested by the Masoretic accent signs, and during the analysis I will focus on:
- the delimitation of the meaning and syntactic role of the construction לִמְנ֣וֹת יָ֭מֵינוּ;
- the syntactic place and the sematic field of the modal adverb כֵּ֣ן (whether it belongs to the verb לִמְנ֣וֹת, or to the verb הוֹדַ֑ע);

The purpose of this short paper is to analyse the semantic field of the grammatical structure "δοκέω + εἶναι" which appears to be translated in various and ambiguous ways. Therefore, I invite the reader to a short philological adventure during which we will try to unfold the semantical field of the grammatical structure “οἱ δοκοῦντες στῦλοι εἶναι” used in Gal 2,9, and I try to find an answer to the following question: what does this characterisation exactly mean?
