A kurzus célja, hogy a hallgatókat megismertesse valamennyi teológiai diszciplína – az ószövetségi és újszövetségi tudományok, a rendszeres teológia, az egyháztörténet és a gyakorlati teológia – teológiai szakkifejezéseivel.

Biserica creștină îl consideră Vechiul Testament ca un stadiu important în formarea credinței revelate în Noul Testament, fără de care acesta din urmă nu poate fi dezlegată în toată adâncimea sa. Obiectivul acestui curs este de a introduce studentul în Vechiul Testament prin prezentarea sistematică, secțiune cu secțiune a conținutului Torei, adică al primelor cinci cărți ale Bibliei (Geneza-Deuteronomiu). Cursul include și o introducere în istoria canonului veterotestamentar, precum și discuții despre relevanța textelor din Vechiul Orient antic în studierea Bibliei.
This course is intended to provide a how-to approach both to graduate and postgraduate theological research and writing in general. Good formal writing, in our view, need not be stiff, labored, or boring to read. It can be creative, direct,
and vigorous — even to the point of possessing some literary merit. Further it must pass the tests of simplicity, accuracy, economy, and clarity.
Metodologia cercetării este o disciplină ajutătoare din mai multe puncte de vedere. În primul rând are menirea să abiliteze studentul în a putea cerceta, organiza, analiza şi sintetiza materialul de studiu în scopul producerii lucrărilor ştiinţifice, inclusiv lucrări de seminar, lucrări de licenţă, articole de specialitate, precum şi teze de masterat sau doctorat.
A kurzus célja a szemináriumi és a szakvizsgadolgozatok megírásához szükséges elvi és gyakorlati tudás megszerzése. Egy tudományos műgonddal megírt dolgozat sokféle szempontnak kell megfeleljen. Ezek között vannak formai, szerkesztési elvárások, de tartalmi, szakismereteket feltételező készségek is, mint amilyen a forráskeresés, forrásfeldolgozás, szintetizálás, új eredmények produkálása stb.
The main objective of this course is to provide a detailed description of the content of the text of the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible, of the history of the literature and of the isagogics of ancient Israel. This objective will be achieved through the employment of the various books of the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible as primary sources and extra-biblical texts as secondary sources.
A kurzus célja kettős: egyrészt áttekinti az ószövetségi prófétai irodalmat (Kései Próféták), másrészt, ezzel párhuzamban röviden felvázolja az ún. kettészakadt királyság korának történetét (Kr.e. 10-5. század). A kér témakör párhuzamosan halad és a tárgyalt történelmi korhoz kapcsolódóan kerülnek terítékre az egyes prófétai könyvek.
A profetizmus ókori közel-keleti jelenségének általános bemutatása után az egyes prófétai könyvek esetében azok tartalmi, irodalomtörténeti és teológiai vonatkozásait vizsgáljuk meg.
The specific objective of this course is to introduce the student into the Old Testament / Hebrew Bible by means of summarising presentations, section by section and chapter by chapter. Topics to be tackled include the conquest and monarchic traditions, the message of the former prophets, the place and relevance of poetic and wisdom texts, and the exilic and post-exilic periods. The course homes in on the interpretative enterprise en ensemble, which subsumes comprehensive knowledge about the authors and historical background of the individual books of the Old Testament / Hebrew Bible and its wider cultural milieu in the ancient Near East.

Az Ószövetségi bevezetés II kurzus célja a történeti könyveinek, az ószövetség költészeti irodalmának és bölcsességirodalmának áttekintése. A kurzus fő hangsúlya a bibliaismereten van, valamint a bölcsességirodalmi és költői szövegek esetében a témák, műfajok, teológiai tanítás áttekintését adja. Mindkét esetben egy holisztikus látás kialakítása a cél, azaz a könyveket az átívelő elbeszélés (pl. Deuteronomisa történeti mű, Krónikás történeti mű) függvényében, ill. az egyes költői és bölcseleti kijelentések kiértékelését az egész könyv tanítása szempontjából értékelni tudja a hallgató (pl.
